Karen Bonaudi, poet and freelance writer, works as a consultant and marketing contractor. . . Patricia Nikolina Clark is the author of two mid-grade novels and is often published in national children’s magazines. . . Luke Ellington supports teen writers as an NCRL librarian and is a lifelong student of the writing craft. . . Lisa Leitz is a former newspaper editor and publisher and teaches communications at Big Bend Community College. . . Fred Melton is an eight-time Pushcart Prize nominee for short fiction whose work has appeared in several well-regarded literary journals. . .Mark Neher, an avid free writer, has published two humorous memoirs and is working on his second novel. . . Brian Ohme is a singer/songwriter and eight time winner of the WVC poetry slam. . . Mary Resk is a freelance writer, performer, and teacher who has taught every grade from pre-school to college. . .Kathi Rivers Shannon, a previous competition winner, writes fiction and nonfiction and teaches English at WVC . . . Carolyn A. Wilson is a writer of short stories, also a previous competition winner, a former high school teacher and a city councilperson.
