On February 11, poet Michelle Peñaloza and novelist Kay Kenyon will read from their recent work at Wenatchee Valley College.

Michelle, from northern California, is the author of the poetry collection Former possessions of the Spanish Empire, winner of the Hillary Gravendyk National Poetry Prize. Kay serves on the WOTR board. Her most recent work is the Dark Talents Trilogy, which received several starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly and has been optioned for film.

The readings will be at the Grove Recital Hall on campus from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. The event is part of WVC’s Visiting Author program. Write on the River is proud to help support this Visiting Author program. Join us for this engaging literary event!
