National Novel Writing Month Write-In!
by admin Upcoming Events. Posted on October 23, 2011.Our driven and daring WOTR National Novel Writing Month group will be meeting for a mid-month “write-in” at Caffe Mela. Writing a 50,000 word novel, start to finish, in one month is a daunting task – but we are more than up to it! A little get-together with our comrades-in-arms will be just the thing to stoke our motivational fires and push us through to success and victory. If you are taking on NaNoWriMo, even if you’re not a part of our group, feel free to come and join us. Our write-in will be held at Caffe Mela in Wenatchee, WA on Friday, November 18th at 4:30.
Perhaps pick two or three ideas and start wrniitg a bit of each, just to get a feel for them (and get those wrniitg juices flowing). If you find that ideas are coming to you more for one story than the others, stick with that one for the rest of NaNoWriMo and put the others away in a safe place for future reference.I signed up today, but instead of wrniitg a novel, I’m going to focus on wrniitg original Features for my blog. I know it kinda goes against the rules an’ all, but I’m using it more as the kick in the butt I need to write more original pieces (and encouraging one to tap into that creative side and write more is really the end goal of it all, anyhow ^_^)Best of luck to you and your creative endeavours!
