Pat Turner
Pat West Turner was raised up the Entiat Valley. Now she lives in East Wenatchee, Washington with her husband, Joe. She received her B.A. in Education from Central Washington University and 5th year from the University of California at Sacramento. Her first teaching assignment was in Placerville, CA, then she finished her 38-year career in the Wenatchee area. Before college, she was in a near fatal car accident, resulting in the loss of her leg. Her recently published memoir, Skiing Uphill: A Story of Strength and Perseverance, outlines an active life regardless of her daily challenges. Pat's travels include New Zealand, Tahiti, Mexico, and Hawaii. Pat enjoys painting kindness rocks and crocheting book worms, as well as working out at the gym. You need to read her book about her up-in-the-air passion.
